Thomas Ascough

Composer and Sound Designer Thomas Ascough has over ten years of music industry experience. After several years as a performing guitarist and pianist he transitioned into music production with a focus on scoring for media in 2015. Ascough soon received his Bachelor of Science in Music Production from Full Sail University graduating Salutatorian with a Course Directors award for Music Business and was inducted into the NSCS Honor Society. He immediately moved to Los Angeles to work as a studio technician at Pop Music Studios and independent composed for over a dozen short films and games while regularly contributing to the Emmy Award winning music library CrimeSonics.

In 2022 Ascough will recieve a Master’s of Fine Arts from Academy of Art University specializing in disign and audio and design for games and animation. He currently serves as Student Representative for the shool's Audio Department. Thomas's musical style revolves around fantasy and world music capturing the whimsical and adventurous themes while incorperation modern styles and instruments
